Found some needed repairs in the front brakes I did not know existed and fixed them. Also, performed a full tune up so "Tommy Toyota" is ready to go hunting again next fall. Tommy appreciates the care the Crabtree crew gives him.

(My review has been updated to be less harsh out of fairness and respect to Crabtree.) Crabtree has polite and professional staff, and communicates well over the phone and in person. They gave us a thorough inspection of our car, and included photos and a link for us to review the inspection later. This was a nice touch. The reason for my low review is that they quoted us at $1,761.23 for repairs. But after having the car fully inspected by a second mechanic shop that we trust, we discovered that we did not need to spend this much on repairs. I recommend getting a second professional opinion before hiring Crabtree to work on your car. Other than that they seem like fine guys. I hope this review helps, thank you. :)

Although this is a bit of a surprise considering all of our recommendations were based off of mileage recommendations from Toyota as well as the pictures we supplied to you for the inspection. Considering we showed you pictures of your transmission fluid next to a sample of clean fluid, and pictures of the CV boots leaking grease as well as many other pictures for recommendations on your vehicle. While all of this information was presented to you and the owner of the vehicle to assure none of these recommendations have been done recently as its always hard to tell the condition of a fluid due to its color/smell. If you were just looking for a shop to give the vehicle a clean bill of health instead of actually checking it over and giving you an honest opinion then it appears you have found one. We will continue to give customers vehicles a thorough inspection with pictures just as we provided to you to ensure all information is given to the customer to assure customers can make an informed buying decision when it comes to vehicles. I would trust them again. My Gran Prix coupe had an ignition problem, and would sometimes stall. Crabtree fixed that... a few days later the car wouldn't start in temps below 40 degrees! They honored their warranty, dug further, and replaced the ignition switch at no cost.

We took in our 2010 Toyota with 100,000 miles in for a full inspection. Crabtree told us there was all kinds of things that needed fixed and quoted us at $1,761.23 in repairs plus $90 for the inspection. It all seemed fishy, so we took our car to another mechanic shop for a second professional opinion. The other shop told us the car was in great shape, only charged us $163 for the inspection and repairs, and they were amazed out how much Crabtree tried to scam us. I don't trust Crabtree and I don't recommend them to anyone.

The Crabtree crew spent most of the day diagnosing what I had described to them as an occasional rough start. They tried a number of times, but never got the rough start. Nevertheless I was relieved to learn that that the fuel pump, fuel filter and injectors checked out fine, and there was no charge for all that service. I really appreciate Crabree's persistence, effort and great customer service.
