I had a great experience at Crabtree Automotive! Everyone was very friendly and professional! I made an appointment for an oil change, but they checked so many other things on my car for FREE! They have a shuttle van which they used to take my son and I back home and picked us back up so we did not have to wait there. We had a great experience!

Overcharges on parts and labor claiming the inability to put parts in brought from outside sources. Break jobs costing well over 700. Obviously stacked good reviews. Compared parts to online vendors and labor to other shops the upcharge is 35%. ****update, attempted to allow them to repair a power steering pump on a car. They held the car for 3 weeks, had to replace the pump they installed twice. Left air filter plus o2 sensor disconnected up returning the car. They will damage and vandalize your car if you use their warrantee. THEY DO NOT USE NEW PARTS, ALL REMANUFACTURED.***********

Hey Daniel, we do have a company policy to not install customer supplied parts. This allows us to honor our 3 year 36k mile Nationwide warranty. In regards to the brake estimates, you had requested premium OE brake components to be included, we can happily reduce the cost to you by using a non OE part which will also give you a much better warranty also. We do have a mark-up on our parts which allows us to pay our technicians living wages as with all other repair and parts facilities. Sorry if we were unable to help you out on your vehicle. Thank you! ******Update, while we had your vehicle we gave you a loaner vehicle, free of charge. The great news about us having to replace that part twice is that it was covered under our warranty which meant you walked away with a $0 charge. After our test drive we did not have any check engine lights or codes present. If we would have left parts unhooked your check engine light would have been on. As far as the damage and vandalize your car I don't even know how to respond to that other than to say we do our best to make sure our customers cars are safe and reliable and cleaner than when they arrived as seen by all of our 5 * Reviews. Some parts are remanufactured but not all. It all depends on the industry standard and what is available with the best warranty, which we allow our customers to choose. *********

They have been in business for forty years, but have kept up to date with technology and amenities. They offer shuttle services, loaner cars, an online maintenance report with pictures, and top notch customer service. Their pricing appears to be fair, even with the added overhead they surely have with their amenities.

Brought my 91 miata in on May 17th for a fuel injector issue. A couple weeks later they call me to say it’s ready to drive yet it needs more diagnostics done. They charged me hundreds of dollars and it still ran nearly the same as when I dropped it off originally. They gave me a couple recommendations on what to replace, so I replaced them. Nothing changed so I call again to bring it back on June 7th. On July 13th I see my car sitting in their parking lot while they’re open so I go in and ask why they aren’t working on it. They come up with some bs excuses but tell me it’s running better and they’re finally able to drive it without stalling out. So I take it for a drive.. and of course it stalls out at every stop light. At that point I ask for my keys back and got it towed elsewhere. I am highly disappointed in such a “reputable” shop and will never be taking my car there again.

We always do our best to get every car back to running their absolute best, Trenton, so we're sincerely sorry that your '91 Miata was continuing to have issues with stalling. When customers first work on their cars before bringing them in there is often more diagnostics needed. Your car had a lot of new parts when you brought it in including a fuel injector that was filling the crank case full of fuel. Our mechanics always do their best to get the diagnosis right and repaired the first time, but often times we have to start with the biggest known problem before we can continue to diagnose other problems. That said, we truly do hope you're able to get that problem fixed. As far as the timeline is concerned we are usually 2-3 weeks book up.
