Unfortunately, Crabtree Automotive did not fulfil their end. I paid $1300 to fix my AC and when I took it back in to get looked at, they stated that maybe it's the tubes and wanted to charge an additional $1200. Not able to guarantee the work they did would fix anything. I also had my wheel mount replaced and now my car shakes terribly when on the freeway. All they said is, "must be a tire issue" Now after 3k my car runs and drives much worse then when I brought it to them. I also requested the oil change service while my car was in their shop the 2nd time, which they also could not provide. I see they also respond to all their reviews, so I'm sure they will have something to say for this one too. The biggest thing is they didn't even try and make it right, I'm just another number in their book. Never again.
No one is just a number to us, Nessa. Our customers are a part of our community, and we truly want to help. We completely understand how frustrating it can be to be told more money is needed to fix repairs. Unfortunately when you car arrived the first visit the AC compressor was siezed. Kat then told you that we would not be able to properly test the system until the AC compressor was replaced. Upon replacing the AC compressor your AC system passed a vacuum test for leaks. Sadly this does not always catch small leaks which is why we add dye to all of our AC services. At this point Kat took you out to your vehicle to show you and try to help you understand the mechanics of the system. Thankfully with the complimentary dye we added we were able to quickly identify leaks in your air conditioning hoses so there was no diagnostic fees. As far as the "car shakes terribly" issue we checked our work and everything was in good working order. So the next thing we would check is tires and your left rear tire was bald on the inside shoulder and the right front tire has a hop in it. Poor tire condition can often cause vibrations and drivability concerns. Sometimes some problems are masked by other issues. You may not have felt the tire vibration over the extremely worn engine mounts and/or wheel bearing. We hope this helps you understand a little more about your vehicle. Some things are just not clear cut.
